Well, there are a couple of solutions, which may/may not be
appropriate for you;

1.  As was mentioned very briefly in another post, sign up for a
free, WWW-based email account. Almost all of the search engines
offer them these days.

2.  Depending on what "not supporting Win 3.1" means, you may
very well be able to continue using your software. I know one of the
local ISPs here "doesn't support Win3.1", but what they mean by
that is that they'll give you a copy of the diskettes, but won't help
you setting it up, or resolving problems. If you already are set up,
then things will probably continue to work fine. For example, if you
use POP3 to retrieve your mail, they are unlikely to turn off POP3 -
Win 95 and Macintoshes still use POP3, and probably will for a
long, long time to come.
