That sounds like one of the 'option ROMs' (IOW, a BIOS extension on an
expansion card) is failing initialisation - the BIOS sees it's there, but
either the checksum's wrong or a signature's missing or something's loose...
Try reseating cards and chips - maybe putting the board in a different
slot - but if that doesn't fix it I think it might be too far gone to do
anything about.
