Howdy,

This is a dumb question, hopefully someone can help me.

I'm installing a copy of Windows 95 (yep, I admit it) on a 486 that I've
just been given. The problem is that my Win95 version is an "upgrade" (on
diskettes), and - although I have two licensed copies of Win 3.1 somewhere -
the diskettes have disappeared in the rubble here.

What I need to know is (1) either the filename that the Win95 installation
routine looks for in order to determine that I really have Win 3.1 (I'm sure
I used to know that, but I can't find it anymore) or if there is anywhere I
can download an image of the 3.1 setup diskette just to satisfy the Win95
installation program.

Thanks

Paul
