Thanks, that really helped me. And it saved considerably time for me to
check every possible way to set the jumpers on :)

Aha, so the problem lies in the fact that neither of these are correct
then. (There was one diffrence between the se and fi keyboard maps - but it
shouldn't be any and neither worked for me to type ex. "� i �a � e �." (the
national characthers, this is actually a meaning - but I doubt any of the
other Swedish readers can understand it <VBG>))
Other things didn't work as expected either are ex. � couldn't be made by
first pressing ^ and then o (usefull for writing words used in my part of
Sweden, ex. k�rv (normally "korv") = hot dog).
So I guess I'll need to check how well the keymap in Red Hat is and maybe
use that - or perhaps I'll just have to make one that is correct.
Funny "���" works when I login (not that I have any other user than root
right now and wouldn't make one with any such special charchter either).
