If you have an MDA/hercules monitor, you may be able to
it.  Some of these monitors happily display the CGA signal.
A few months ago, I got five herc monitors for $2.  Two
of them work perfectly on my laptop's CGA port (they also
work perfectly on a herc card).  The other three herc
monitors only display herc.
