IIRC, a true RGB connector (at least the one on a Commodore 128) has
an NTSC composite monochrome output that could be fed through the
composite input of a VCR and viewed on a TV (in black and white
though). I think CGA lacks this feature, but I do have a file that
describes how to fabricate a circuit to convert CGA to composite
monochrome which would allow you to route the signal through a VCR
and hence to a TV. Would this be of help? Let me know and I will
forward it to you.
