Here's a question that bugged me for some time now:
We all know what a "newbie" means, we all seem to have a close
and common definition to the definition "Joe, typical user".
It also seems, as far as I understood from the list and other
resources, that a "hacker" means (with no connection to "cracker")
a "very experienced user, who is good in programming or have lots
of related knowledge, and is generaly a computer wizard who can do
just about anything with the machine.".
..So.. what is the definition of a person, who have years of
experience with computers, and is an "expert" as far as using
the computer goes, however is barly in a beginner level in
programming (basic level knowledge of basic and pascal), however
still do understand the idea behind programming mechanics, and
interact with the computer _much_ better and more proffesionaly
then "Joe, typical user"?
Thats not a hacker, but something which I still cant find the
defenition for. Thats me, by the way.
