As in beginner, intermediate and advanced user. I've seen these three terms
used with many computer books to help consumers decide the level of
difficulty that a book offers before reading/buying it. These terms attempt
to describe the degree of experience needed for something. Of course, some
of us may be stuck in one or the other category indefinitely... ;-)
