Hi:

Up until just a few hours ago, I used to be able to test my email programs
simply by sending test messages to myself from my own email address, and
through my own SMTP server. Now I can't do that anymore. In order to
test an email program, I have to send test messages to somebody else. It
is still possible for me to login to my web-based email account and
compose and send a message to myself from the web-based account.

I wonder why in the heck I can no longer send a message to myself by
uploading it to my own SMTP server?

I used to could, now I can't. Did anybody else ever have a problem
like that?

All the best,

Sam Heywood

P.S. BTW, for the benefit of those who do not recognize very bad English
when they see it, my second to last sentence in the body of this message
is a good example of an incorrect usage of the verb "to be able".
