You can "Zoom Out", Paste, click in the grey area, and then zoom in.
This however only works properly in 16 colour mode since PaintBrush

Yes, I am on my "Day 160 of your 30 trial period" as it says when I
go into it. :) It doesn't care about this, but I rarely use it; did
just about all the images on my webpage with neopaint [but I can't
win there either as US$45 is a little too much for me ATM]. :(
PaintShop Pro's main use for me seems to be to set a colour as clear.
