In almost all of the newspapers in my country, warnings from the
police have warned against using the Internet and computers at
all during 2000 eve.
The fear is of trojan horses, and of the "Y2K virus" (oh please.).
My mother and father have almost freaked out when they saw that
my computer was on-line. Thankfully, I managed to convince them that
Arachne is an image viewing program, and that I wasnt connected.
