I am happy to find a list for users of legacy equipment.
It was no surprise to find that my 286/16 is considered
to be obsolete, but I was unhapilly surprised to find that
my 486/100 is also considered legacy.
A couple of questions.... My 286 works wondeful with the Aztec
Free-net lynx. In the other location in Missouri the phone
line is so slow (14400) that Netscape often times out on a page
before it is fully loaded. With the 486,...even with the images
turned off. That's confusing I know. The gist of this query,
is lynx available to be loaded onto my 486 and will the local
ISP give me any problems?
Will/can Lynx replace Netscape 4.5 on a slow phone line?
