Once the client mounts the NFS (from the server with
the CDrom), the CDrom will become part of the client's
'local' filesystem.

Oh, I see.  You want the Linux machine to serve
MSwin clients.  Sorry, I know nothing about MSwin.
Perhaps the SMB HOWTO would help you?
