4 Survivor PCs for FREE: Washington, DC area. All work! You must pick
up on the weekend; no delivery; no shipping -- I'm not going through any
trouble -- otherwise I was thinking of putting them on the street corner
for an anonymous pickup-up.

The 8525 and 8530 PS/2 can format a 720K floppy as 1.0 MB when using
IBM's PC-DOS. Under MS-DOS the floppies are 720K.

Compaq 80386sx
80386sx-20Mhz, 1MB RAM, 8/16-bit ISA bus, 70MB HD, VGA video, 1.4MB 3.5"
floppy, DOS 6.22/Win 3.1, includes Compaq VGA monitor model 420. Works!

All are complete with power cables, keyboard & serial mouse (PS/2
adapters not included).

I was also considering removing the 1.4MB floppy from the 8550 and the
Compaq, but was wondering if someone out there really wanted these PCs
that it would be better if their floppies were intact.

Interested in a trade? I need 3-1/2" 1.4MB PC floppy drives and
external speakers.
