If you check Netscape's home pages, you can find the information
about this.
Navigator,of version 4.05 or under has the expired certificates. You
can download the latest version, 4.08, for most platforms, including
Windows 16 and 32 bit platforms.
Communicator, of version 4.5 and under, also has expired
certificates. You can download the latest version, 4.7, for many of
the platforms Netscape supports.
Now, admittedly, neither of these are the slim-and-trim version 1,2,
or 3 of the browser, but 4.08 has been working well for us, as has
4.7 of Communicator.
