The Planet Sinclair site mentions this. The current patent/copyright
holders for ZX-81 have retained their rights, but given express written
permission for free distribution of anything Sinclair ZX until further
notice. I believe this has something to do with the original arrangement
for US distro with Timex, though I don't see how; this is Sinclair
branded. I do know it's off limits to EU for legal reasons.
