My source has it as MFM, with a capacity of 68 megs.
I once had a Micropolis drive that was listed as ESDI, but
was MFM.
Low-level formats can sometimes be done through the bios.
If that's not possible, I think I remember something on
simtelnet that'll do it too. Are you sure it's necessary?
With that small a difference, it might just be the old
question of what you call a megabyte.
I'd try the specs that fit and see what happens, IDE or no
IDE.
