There is a limit, of, I believe, 400 entries, folder or file, in the root
directory.
If you have a lot of entries off root, see if that's the problem. If so,
make a sub directory and put all those that don't have to be off root into
the subfolder (you can set it in your path statement if you want). In
subdirectories there is no limit to the entries which may be made.
