There has been some movement according to the web pages. In fact, I went to
verify that TCP/IP was not available only to find that work is, apparently,
underway to add networking support sometime in the future. Needless to say,
the "big daemons" aren't going to be much fun without it!
ELKs is one of many efforts to provide EMBEDDED Linux, so it's not really
oriented specifically towards SurvPC users. More towards hardware types that
need a stable OS for their devices. It CAN run on XT/286 class hardware, but
it's not going to make it into a full Internet server in 4M!
