Ok, I must say that I don't like using the second mouse button (or the
single extra key for it on "win95 keyboards"). The reason is quite simple -
in almost every windows 9x/NT version I've used I have been able to crash
the system after not loading many (if any) programs at all.
Windows 95 OSR3 (IIRC), I hit the right mouse button in Explorer after
installing on my cousins machine - crash.
Using the right mouse button in the system tray in NT 4 (on both of my two
computers that ran it) - crash.
And it ain't much better in 3.x either - using it in mIRC (but that was
probably the fault of mIRC) would make a beep. After I disconnected the
internal speeker I would still get a beep - this time generated by making
my HD read/write heads move. Needless to say I don't use mIRC anymore.

And since I, when my hands aren't typing, put one of them over in the left
corner (easy to reach the shift, ctrl, alt, tab and Esc keys) and the other
over the arrow keys (easy to navigate and close to both the numeric keys,
the ins, home etc. keys and enter).
With my hands like thst hitting Ctrl-Esc the few times I need to actually
start a program in Win9x/NT isn't long.

BTW: Yesterday my system assumed (in Explorer) that both mouse buttons
where the right one :( (And the mouse "works" (see my earlier posts about
mice) everywhere except there).
