I am 36 and have been "into" computers for approximately 2.5 years. I did
encounter Mac plus in my University days and concluded that for heavy
writing a computer beats a typewriter, hands down. Other than that, I
lived a fine, rich and varied life for 33 years with no computer. I grew
plants, painted paintings, trained pets, and loved special humans. I
bought a house, drove a car, and lived a full and rich life. I love my
computer and what it's given me, but I am not so silly to think that it is
necessary to my life. It's just a really wonderful thing. Beats the hell
out of TV, books, and going to parties on a saturday night. I'm still not
certain, but i might even prefer it to sex.

Inertia. It's not just an object at rest tends to stay at rest; it's
also an object in motion tends to stay in motion.
