Aside from being ethically rude and selfish, I agree, it's not well suited
to conversion. heck, you can buy the mobo and processor for little more
than what it costs you at the outset to get one of these. I'd totally
reccommend this beauty to mr. and mrs. suburban who know nothing about
computers but want to join the internet. Nicer than webtv and much more
sensible than buying a whole computer. i have had to try and coax computer
illiterates into computer use and frankly, it's generally not worth it if
there's another way to achieve their goals. They shock at the cost, the
weird anagrams, the odd dialect of filesystems, and anyway, what does
"defrag" mean?
These are people who already devote their energies to a career and life of
their choice. They want to drive a car to work, they don't want to have to
study mechanics to do it. Same goes for getting on the net.
With this i-opener device they can do just that. Looks neat. Now about
local access....

Inertia. It's not just an object at rest tends to stay at rest; it's
also an object in motion tends to stay in motion.
