I have 32 megs of memory on the motherboard. There are 4 8-meg
EDO 72pin sticks in banks 0 and 1 (two in each bank). There is
one open (168 pin) sdram slot on the MB.

Question: Is it possible to expand the memory by placing a 168
pin sdram stick in the unused sdram slot, keeping the existing
EDO ram? Is EDO ram compitable with SDRAM?

I have been told by one supplier that they are compatible, by
another supplier that they are not. I would like to confirm which
is technically correct.
