"Leisure suit Larry in the land of the long lizards" (or just "Larry") also
exists in a VGA version IIRC. I don't think I've got that one left but I'm
prety sure I've got the original somewhere around here. It took me quite
some time before I figured out what all the answers were to the questions
so I could start playing the game (IIRC ALT-X skips the questions but I
only learnt that after I had finished the game).
The adventure game genre has been dropped in favor for (real time) strategy
and 3D games, and that's sad IMO. The few new games that are made are so
incredibly easy to finish (compare the three Monkey Island games for
instance - Monkey III is a peace of cake). But on the other hand the scene:
"You don't have to see my identification! I'm not the pirate you are
looking for."
etc. as from Star Wars : Episode IV is very funny in the middle of the game.
