Hello,

As (some of) you already aware, a few software company has
officially released their abandonware as unsupported public
domain, i.e. Inprise (formerly Borland), which released their
oldest compilers (Turbo C, Turbo Pascal, etc.); id Software,
released some full source code (Wolfenstein 3D, Spear of
Destiny). But so far that's all I know of. It's possible
that even more "legalized" abandonware like this already
available from another software companies.
Anyone know such?
