With Interlink, you do (H> is host computer, S> is slave):
H> INTERLNK /COPY
[more detailed instructions and serial prompt questions]
S> MODE COMx:9600,n,8,1
COMx: 9600,n,8,1
S> CTTY COMx:

At this point, the host copies INTERLNK.EXE and INTERSVR.EXE over to the
slave. The slave says something like 'Transferring bootstrap...
Transferring files...'.

I think this needs a slave machine which at least boots to a DOS prompt.
MODE.EXE/COM may also be needed, but some machines will have 9600baud no
parity 8bit 1stop as the default settings.
