greetings chad,
actually for me,
the only way i can seriously
consider wind 3.11 is
if indeed itis not active all the time.
my speach package is "supposed,"
to work with some aspects of windows,
but i would only use it for
things that absolutely
cannot be done in dOS,
because all of my real
programs are dos and the speech
runs just fine in it.
finding configurations for
the speech will be
hard as they too no longer
support wind 3.11
the only reason i have thought about it
is just what you named,
i can run it when needful,
andnot have it in the way the
rest of the time.
btw the only other
application i can think of
that might require the jump
aside frommixing and editing sound,
is using seured sites.
oups,
secured sites.
and then i would have to
hope for a config out
there somewhere for
what driveri manage to find.
real.com still offers
a realaudio player for w 3.11
but i guess i cannot start
a program under windows then go back to
dos?
lol!
thanks,
karen
