My current project is to connect my old Ericsson EPPC (Portable 8086, 512kb
ram, 386kb ramdisk, 360k 5.25" drive, cga screen) to the internet (with my
2k4 modem of course) and use it as an irc/icq client (or whatever). Later
on I might even setup my 286 so that it can access the net over my network =)
I started with this as early as yesterday.. I ran into a wall when my ISP
required CHAP for authentication. I'll have another go today after work and
we'll se how it goes.
