same thing on thisn ote, an error mesage about the domine name?

hi everyone,

so as to clear up the focus on edlin let me explain what i did.
actually what happened was that i got the entire dos utility
kit for 622 from the micro soft site.
it had trouble installing, and as with my last faulty dos
installation, when we barely got the drive moving,
did not expand the files included.
there is a command built into the setup to do this, but because
of the problems with my dos,
it did not work.
i still have that great toexpand utility so was able to get tot
he programs or some of them at least. also, several people sent
me copies of the edlin for dos 622. same result, dos would tell
me that i had the incorrect version. while telling me that my
version was dos 622.

in any case, edlin is really not important,
i found afine dos editor, but my problems with edlin do help to
illustrate why i do not want to zip up my
dos directory.

btw can someone confirm Bjorn's
idea on using the -@x
option inmy pkzip command line to remove the directory?
would not i have to actually make a list file in that say
nocopy.txt
file instead of just using the whole path? in order for zip to
get everything?
my sources suggest that he is wrong here.

thanks,

karen
