Hey Michigan!!

try out the Yamaha drive. Before i checked out all the reviews i could.
CNET had about the best assortment - but all were far from complete. Thus i
spend two weeks doing searches.

Yamaha is one of the very few who make ALL their own components. So thus,
reviews tend to get kinda twisted and convoluted.

As i live Up North (where it is even colder than Michigan, believe it or
not) we wanted something really reliable.

The other thing i did - and this is a suggestion for you - is after doing
most of my research, i called up Yamaha tech support. We chatted for about
15 minutes about specs etc. Almost NO jokes too. Really tech erudite, and
willing to talk. NO 2 hr wait. That was my way of 'checking out' the tech
support.

I gave Yamaha a BIG plus (and it comes w/ the best software + you can get a
cross platform model.)

who, after escaping from Mich, ended up in northern Alberta. Just goes to
show you some people NEVER learn eh?
