Hi all,
I just installed a Yamaha/Labway YMF318(319?) sound card on a 286, Herc
monitor. It works fine, with the exception of recording. It records dead
silence. Mixer settings are OK, I think, I've played with different I/O,
IRQ and DMAs, and several SB-compatible record routines.
I think I may be confused on the initialization file, such as the WSS DMA
setting. It defaults to "dual", with PDrq 1 and CDrq 0, IRQ 5. Very
confusing! I'm using the line inputs, the audio is fine at the line out on
the card, just no recording.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
