I hope this isn't considered too off topic for this list, but I
wanted to know what freephone isps it might be possible to access
with a 2,400bps pulse dial modem (built in to Amstrad laptop).
I only know about x-stream, but don't know if this is usable without
their banner.
It occurs to me that once internet calls become free, its only our
time, not connect charges we're wasting with the older slower modems,
but just for a bit of email even that 2,400bps should still have some
utility.
