Hello Everyone,
I am testing Arachne on my 486, with my newly aquired Hayes Smartmodem
2400. It is an external model, that I found at GoodWill for about $2.
The first time I saw it, I couldn't find the power supply. The second
time I saw it, I found the power supply stuck in with an IBM PS/2 Model
30, or maybe it was a 50.
I disassembled it, cleaned it up, and reassembled it. It works great,
although, it is slow at only 2400bps. I wish Hayes still made there
external modems in these neat looking extruded aluminum cases!!
