Hello,
A few days ago, I asked for memory help with my 486, but didn't get any
responses. I take that to mean you guys are clueless, as I am :-)
In a nutshell, the computer sees all 80 megs for the memory test at boot
up, but PCDOS and a Win98 system disk, only see 16megs of ram. This
computer previously had 40megs.
In order to determine if my problem ls with DOS, or hardware, I figured
I would like to see how much memory Linux thinks the computer has. Is
there a "mem" command in Linux... Basiclinux I have already, but I don't
know many commands.
Thanks,
