You can shell out of the composer. Just install the EXTERNAL EDITOR APM
in order to compose emails with your favorite test editor. You could
select a text editor which offers a shell feature. Another solution is
to first use Arachne's editor to compose the mail headers. Then save
the message to your outbox. Then escape to DOS shell (ALT + E) and then
edit your message in your outbox. No problem.
