Well, I finally went and looked at the MicroWndows
site. I'm not experienced at programming to a GUI
environment, but this looks like a great place to
start.
WIthout having read everything, it would seem that
if you have the source for some Win32 or X-Win
application, you should be able to port it to this
GUI with minor (or no) changes.
Also it seems you can write graphical applications
for DOS without having to be running any version
of MS-Win. From what I understand, this provides
access to graphics without trying to be an OS.
Reminds one of the original motto of Dr. Dobbs
