Hello:
Yesterday I sent an email to technical support at my web-based email
place. I wrote to inquire whether it were possible to access and use
the service by means of either a POP3 or an IMAP email client program.
I received an answer this morning. They said that they use "advanced
SQL technology" and therefore they do not support POP.
I suppose this means that the only way I can use the service is by
using a browser to access the website. BTW, can anyone please explain
to me in a nutshell just what is "SQL technology"?
BTW, my web-based email site is at http://www.valise.com. This service
works with Arachne. Also it works with Bobcat/Lynx, but you have to
resort to a few work-arounds. It doesn't work with Net-Tamer.
Regards,
Sam Heywood
