Speaking of IE 5.x, I installed it (in an atempt to see if MediaPlayer 7.x
would be fast enough to view divx movies with, but there was no diffrence
AFAICT). Anyway, I choosed (naturally) the custom install where I could
choose the size so it would be between 6-46MB, but I don't understand how
in the world Microsoft are counting since I stripped out almost everything
(HTML and Java support was all that was left) and it required 85MB to
install... And it required some more during the installation.
I still need to find a song with the text "Microsoft, Microsoft, bloatware
all the way. I've sat here installing Word since breakfest yesterday". The
normal text is "Jingle bells, jingle bells" etc, but there are too many CDs
with MP3s here. One of these days I'm going to "dir/s/a *.mp3 >>
c:\mymp3s.txt" on all of them ;-)

Aha, hmm... service packs? Such as those for NT? (it's up to sp6 now
right?) If that is the case then I really don't see the point in them
(which brings it back to 3 useful CDs so why make a copy of the fourth
<g>). I can understand how they can fit enough things together to make it 4
CDs for Visual studio C++ 98, but the ammount of junk added to Office must
be very very high.
