Goin' Postal is an excellent email client for a 286 or better desktop
or laptop as long as your modem is on COM1 or COM2. I've used it on a
bootable floppy/RAMdisk installation on my son's older Compaq P75
when I visited at Christmas a year ago and it worked very well. I'd
love for the author, Steve Lawson, to compile a version for the
8088/8086 and I think it would be great on an old XT.
