I am about to try to use Winfaxlite from an iomega zip 100 disk in
Win3.11
it is so frustrating; because i got into PCs so late -'95- and I've
had minimal tech support or training on these now obsolete machines...
*everything*! (: is an *experiment*! (: . I try to make room on my hard
drive and try and guess which files are safe to delete (: with no way of
knowing if I have hurt myself/situation (: - I DO have the norton's
insta'd on both machines - Tosh. 486 notebook which I am using currently
and an Amer. megatrends AT 386dx which is temp. not being used yet has the
sound card, c compiler, etc. - I HAVE been able to get Word 6.0 from the
386's 3.1 to run from a iomega zip disk on the toshiba's 3.11 :) .)
I have such trouble with the 386's Small drive (340 MB (:)
I SHOULD "upgrade" and have purchased a Pentium w Win98 and outlook
express for a friend who previously had nothing yet for myself I am a
fanatic re: making do with whats at hand (: -
