winlight is not a microsoft product or os; but it might run your
winfaxlite.
however, if what you want is fax, it aint that hard to setup in dos.

btw, you know about a rebate on toshiba laptops?
340meg is plenty of room for a DOS operating system. You can fax,
surf, and do email with it.
MDRxxx.zip from simtel will unzip as 'modem doctor' and tell you what
com ports you have and what they are hooked to. I've even seen it
initialize a winmodem from the dos prompt. if you have a fax capable
modem, it'll find it.
