Hey, great! The M24 was my second machine (after the Apple II) and is what
got me off to my "official" career in computing. Glad they're still around.
I converted mine to 120V when I moved back to the US and traded it off many,
many years ago. I sort of wish I'd kept it, it was a unique machine. I did
keep the technical reference though, complete with schematics. I tried to
get ahold of an M20, but never did.
One of my early programming accomplishments was writing a little program to
read from the real-time clock and updating DOS (a big deal at the time). I
vaguely recall that the BIOS had some issues with years beyond 1990, or
something like that. Easily fixed in software, but it was an interesting
precursor to the whole Y2K thing.
Neat machine. I always liked PCs that had two giant screws for power
connections!
