there are cheap db25 to db9 converters;
there's also lots of DB-25 to ribbon to a
ten pin dual in line that will jack right
onto 'com 2', 'com 1' or "SO 1", "SO 0"
pins found on either motherboards or ISA
serial port cards, or even multi I/O cards.
All plain vanilla dos, or anything on up.
What I've not seen is a cable with DB-25 on
one end, and DB-9 on the other.
