Hello,
Recently, I purchased a new AMD CPU for my socket 7 system. It is an
AMD K6-2 500. The front side bus speed is 100mhz, and I set the
multiplier to 5.5, but I don't get 550mhz, only 522. Why?
This was going to get Linux, but a new software purchase for school,
requires W98, so it looks like I will still be tied to Windows for
awhile longer.
