I had managed to get bobcat installed and signed on to starpower.net with it. Everything went fine until just after the MTU: 1006 line came up and at that point bobcat consistently times out. I don't know whether this is defective software on the author's part or defective configuration of the software on my part. starpower.net does dhcp so you never actually connect with the same address each time you log on. I had just answered the questions in newuser.bat and logged on. It was claimed that if you have a 14400 speed modem that you could set the speed to 38 and the text came over fine up until the MTU: line so I suspect that's not the problem here. bobcat is a smaller version of lynx for dos and now has a version for 386 computers and better. --- Jude <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
