Hi, You should check three things:
1. You are correctly connecting the cable. Floppy cables have connectors for two floppies, make sure you are plugging the cable in the drive a: connector. 2. Check the Bios and select the appropriate floppy type (it will give you a couple of options; 1.44, 1.2 , 720, 360 , etc.) 3. Make sure the disk drive is not broken. Check it in another computer.
