Look, I gave you the keywords to bring up citations to my sources.
Personally, I think Microsoft is stupid for maintaining their
attitude, and said as much in my post. Your exceptionally long post is
sort of amusing, but in the real world, it is just so much talk.

Those guys in Australia had to go out and get lawyers to represent
them, and since they were legally in the wrong, the case was lost
before it even got into court. It's not a matter of having anyone
assign damages, its a matter of having to hire and pay for counsel,
and having your life thrown into a shambles, and Microsoft's lawyers
know that. Of course, I'm sure you have tricks up your sleeve that
their team of investigators and elite legal hired guns never saw
before.<g>
