Howard, I don't know if you got this, but to explain what happened: once I had subscribed to the list, it sent me "Digest #1" which is a compilation of all the traffic so far (about 4MB). Normally, since digest mode is enabled from the beginning, the first digest is only a few messages. By waiting several months and then turning it on, I got - er - somewhat more.
I imagine that those people who subscribe after tomorrow will get Digest #2, will get only those messages from the list since Digest #1. I hope. Otherwise, allow me to apologize in advance for the very large Digest #1.
