I liked Nettamer as well, ran beautifully on a 486. I liked the fact that it asked for, then defaulted to, my usual text editor so I wouldnt havta learn yet another menu system.
As I recall, getting it up and running and online for a newbie used to BBSing... was a bitch. Nomenclature often was a mystery. Nowadays I dunno that's a problem with it. But- is there any tool which will properly display the websites you routinely see cited in the postings? That is, which will run in DOS? Closest I seen was Arachne, which I have tried off and on for some years now, but which seems to be falling behind the art of rendering the crap created by Microsoft web tools. No SST for online ordering either. So far, the minimal setup is opera with win31, and I aint too sure bout that. dont recall that it did usenet either, which nettamer did. but maybe cutting and pasting between them aint too bad.
