Oh absolutely. As I wrote that, I was trying (apparently unsuccessfully) to
avoid using the American auto market as an analogy -- most analogies only go
so far, and just like statistics, you can find parallels to suit any point
of view you want to take -- but rather I was hoping that we'd see a change
in consume attitudes similar to what happened with cars though. Not because
of any parallel in technology, but simply the cycle of denial->acceptance.
